Free WordPress Theme: Portofino
Portofino is a postcard from the Italian Riviera - once fishing village, now resort of the rich and powerful who wouldn’t be seen dead in Monte Carlo next door….
Portofino is also a 2 column fixed-width WordPress theme, with righthand sidebar, enabled for widgets.
Comments are gravatar-enabled and will work whether you’re using WP2.5 or lower - the WP gravatar plugin is not required. There’s also a separation of user comments from pingbacks/trackbacks.
The theme is compatible with WordPress 2 upwards, including 2.5 and 2.5.1, and has been tested on Firefox 2, Internet Explorer 6 and 7, and Opera 9.

I like this theme, but couldn’t get the pictures aligned the way I wanted. I ended up having to use both class=”left” and align=left” in order to get the text side by side with the pics, but the spacing is really too close and I don’t know how to fix that.

That isn’t the theme - use align left in the editor and add padding eg style=”padding: 0 10pt 0 0″ as per normal…
class = left isn’t an HTML attribute, it’s a CSS selector that an old theme of yours might have defined
